Monday's pros and cons list

First, a bit of the old whine:

I am tired of rain. Will it ever get warm?

I can't frigging breathe -- my allergies are killing me.

We got a flat yesterday.

Why is there so much damn poison ivy in my yard? It's all over my legs, and I can't wear a skirt. I'm afraid to spread Mount Saint Mulch for fear of disturbing it and getting more.

I wish I were laying in a hammock in my yard with a big-ass iced tea in my hand. Work is boring.

On the bright side:

We finally got a fence quote. Yeehaw!

The lawn mowing dude came over today.

M did a fabulous job cleaning the pool. Looks great. (And you say I always tease you on my blog...)

I met my girlfriend's two-month-old yesterday, and he is just beautiful. So is her older son, who is walking up a storm. We had a good time catching up.

I had a great lunch with my friends on Saturday (although I shouldn't have eaten so much Awesome Blossom fried onion).

I sent in the rebates for the Coke and our oil change, so money's coming. Did you hear that, M?
