Lynn Fells Parkway lights in Saugus
I grew up in Melrose, and it became a tradition to drive around at Christmastime and look at the Christmas lights on the Lynn Fells Parkway and its side streets. Every year, the traffic gets backed up here. I read somewhere that the people in this neighborhood, which M and I have dubbed Guinea Heaven (being guineas ourselves), spend $30K on their displays. Well, thanks to the magic of the Internet, you can see the extreme over-the-topedness I experienced as a kid. Check out these Flickr photos someone took.
