A lesson in branding

Ford had one of the most successful brand names in America with the Taurus. The company got rid of it and introduced the Five Hundred . According to this article, it's rebadging the Five Hundred as the Taurus to make it sell. Another stupid move by Ford, in a long line that includes my disaster of an ex-car, the 2000 Ford Focus. Sigh. When are American automakers going to get it?
