Oh, no, you did NOT just kiss Stacy

I am a House addict. I think Hugh Laurie is quite a piece of ass, complete with piercing blue eyes. I also think the show is smart and well-written, and I enjoy the medical stuff. So imagine my chagrin when House kissed his married ex-girlfriend when they were snowed in together and "had" to share a hotel room. I mean, come on. Like the whole thwarted love thing has not been done to death. (Can we say the fall of one of my all-time favorite shows, Moonlighting, which not totally coincidentally fell off the face of the earth after the two main characters started feckin'? Please buy me the DVDs, btw -- I've been jonesing for them.) The classy thing for House to do would be back away when Stacy started smooching on him, but they just...kept...kissing. And had his phone not rang regarding the case at hand, he would have done her. I was horrified (yet intrigued and a bit turned on, I might add). Stacy seemed to do an about-face -- first she stayed away from him, then she gets a hotel room with him? WTF? Can we say sweeps? Writers, you rock (as evidenced by these amazing show quotes), but work on your transitions, and stop being so predictable. You know there's going to be a big where-this-relationship-is going talk, after which she'll fly the coop. Fungool. Hook up with Cameron, willya? Hey, I watch very little TV, so I get gushy about the shows I like.

I have a very difficult tomorrow coming up. I have to meet with a coworker about a conflict we've been having. I'm dreading it, but I'm trying to be optimistic that it will make things better between the two of us. Stay tuned, and in the meantime, keep your fingers crossed that things will get better.
