In the words of Bob Barker: A NEW CAR!

We brought the plates and registration down to the dealer last night. I wrote the biggest check I ever wrote in my life. I wasn't sure I could fit all the numbers on one line. Man, those are some slick mofos in the finance office. They kept asking us about our trade. We were like, ummm, we're paying cash. Don't know why it's hard to get their heads around the fact we don't want to take on borderline usurious car loan rates. Our mortgage is monthly payment enough.

After dealing with the car dealer bozos, we went for some fine cuisine. I had to send my sandwich back twice. It tasted like ass. And to say I went off my diet is the understatement of the year. I need to face the scale today.

Auction dude is going to pick up Crappy the Car on Monday. Goodbye. I'm over my sadness. On many levels.

Stayed up way past midnight watching my Moonlighting DVDs. Man, that was a good show.

On an unrelated note: In case you guys need something to look forward to, there's a holiday with your name on it next month.
