There's an old episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show where this dude is a complete party animal at night -- and he's fast asleep and has no memory of it in the morning. I just read this article about Ambien and how it can cause weird behavior while you're sleeping. That is just funky.

I remember back in the day, one of the first times M slept over my apartment in Waltham, he said I was talking in my sleep and accusing him of not really being a lawyer. He thought I was awake and tried to engage me in conversation, telling me he could show me his bar card if I wanted proof (that's quite a pickup line, hon), but I have no memory of this. Another time, when I was really little and we were at our cottage in Wareham, there was a total lunar eclipse, and my mom woke me up in the middle of the night to see it. She said I was talking and laughing with everyone, but I didn't remember any of it in the morning. I often wonder where your mind really goes while you're sleeping.
