My confession: I don't give a crap about the Big Dig

Sure, I feel bad for the family of the woman who died in the tunnel collapse. And yeah, it's appalling how poorly and corruptly this project has been managed.

But I don't live anywhere near Boston anymore, and I don't know that I've ever driven in the new parts of the project. And honestly, whenever someone starts talking about it, while I try to be interested, my eyes glaze over, and I start recalling the plot of the Grey's Anatomy or House finale. I just don't care, friends and neighbors.
