Walking down a different street
Have you ever heard the one about falling into the same hole over and over and finally walking down a different street? Here it is, if you haven't.
There is a situation I have been in for years. Every time I go near it, it's like the third rail: I get zapped. Last week I found myself heading toward the street with the hole in it again. All of my memory circuits remembered the walk and led me automatically. At the last minute, I veered onto a different street. And as Robert Frost said, it has made all the difference.
That is all.
