I like clothes
I love me some clothes and shoes. And you can get all the summer clothes I adore on sale now. This article talks about which staples to stock up on.
Ya know, I gave my producers a seminar on grammar and punctuation, and one of them questioned the conventional wisdom that sentences should not end on a preposition. That's bunk -- to make the sentence above not end on a preposition, it would have to say "This article talks about which staples on which to stock" -- but people stick with it. But ever since the session, every time I end a sentence on a preposition, I think, "how can I rephrase this so it doesn't?" And then I realize how awkward it would sound and drop it.
So last night, I met Butterstar at my local Panera. She rocks the house, I don't mind sayin'. We sat and chatted so long that they closed the restaurant around us, and we had to use the side door to get out. We even look alike. At first, it was like a date, all awkward and such. Then we just were off to the races chattin'. I miss having girlfriends, and I think that's where a lot of my depression comes from. (or "from where my depression comes"). Anyway, Butterstar, you are a cool shit, and I hope we get to hang out again.
