Home today

I woke up this morning exhausted and feeling like crap, so I exercised an option I rarely use: I called out. I laid in bed until after noon, then got up and cleaned up a bit, patted the really cute golden next door, and now I'm sitting here sweating my ass off, moving ever-so-slowly toward the shower. I want to make M a nice dinner tonight. I've kind of been a See-You-Next-Tuesday to him lately. Been crabby. Maybe it's the heat.

For breakfast, I ate a Klondike Slim-A-Bear; for lunch, I stuffed a pepper with tuna salad. M bought some seriously crappy light tuna. Yecch. I like white albacore, and to top it off, this stuff was really cheap and fishy-tasting. Ahh well, beggars can't be choosers.

It's hot as blue fuck out there. (Why do I like that expression so much??) And our pool water is still green. Yes, green. Not blue-green, but green-green. We went to Namco last night and had it tested, and they said it's just algae, but it's grossing me out.
