Can we talk shoes for a minute?

I have a hardcore addiction, people: Footwear. You can say it's a woman thing. I think it also comes from growing up as a "Pretty Plus," as they call it in Sears. No matter what you weigh, you're never too fat for shoes.

My husband, typical man that he is, does not understand why "one little person needs so many shoes." Of course, he wears a suit to work every day, so he needs a black pair, a brown pair and a pair of sneakers for the weekends. On the other hand, to go with my wardrobe, I need:
  • Boots
  • Sandals
  • Sneakers
  • Slutty heels (the sluttier, the better)
  • Loafers
  • Comfy shoes
The biggest collection I've ever seen belongs to my mom. She has more than 100 pairs. I know for a fact she doesn't wear all those, but she loves having them all.

As for me, I have about 40 pairs. Here's the main collection:

And here's the summer collection, which I'm looking forward to spending some time with someday (it's snowing AGAIN):

My name is Christine, and I am a Yankee Candle-and-shoes-a-holic.
