My name is Christine, and I'm a Yankee Candle-aholic

I went to the mall yesterday, since M and I couldn't seem to agree on what to do. He wanted to go car shopping (his latest bugaboo), and I think there's a special circle of hell for car dealers. So I finally left and went to do my own thing, much to his whining and complaining. I went to J Jill and bought this sweater on mega-clearance:

Then I went to Yankee Candle and bought their new, limited-time fragrance, Willow Breeze. My kitchen is light and dark blue, so it looks great on my stove. I had some birthday money I never deposited, so I funded all my purchases with that. Hey, listen, I had fun.

The title of my post also comes from the book I started reading last night while M watched the (very boring) Super Bowl: Augusten Burroughs's Dry. I read his first book, Running with Scissors, and I really like his writing style. And he's lived quite a life. It's about his struggle with alcoholism -- a drug he was actually allergic to and took Sudafed to be able to drink. Now that's addiction.

Thanks for your comments on my last post. Without further ado, my classic rock-loving (AKA Homer Simpson music) husband's top 5 embarrassing songs:

1) Get This Party Started -- Pink

2) Baby Got Back -- Sir Mix-A-Lot

3) Complicated -- Avril Lavigne

4) Push It -- Salt N Pepa (he loves, loves, loves that Sprint commercial)

5) All for You -- Janet Jackson

3) Push It -- Salt-n-Pepa
