The weather, the price of gas and other things I'd like to bitch about

It is much too cold here for May 1. Seriously. M and I tried to buy some annuals yesterday to plant in the yard, but it's still getting down to freezing at night, so the very honest farmstand lady wouldn't sell them to me. She was telling us that she's burning tons of oil in the greenhouses to keep the plants warm at night. Ugh. Yesterday was 75 degrees and just amazing weather, but it's about 55 today. I just want consistent temps in the 70s. Come on.

OK, we all know gas is through the roof. M and I went to the local Hess to fill up our Camry and dropped $41. On regular. M was bitching to anyone who would listen about it. As much as I love the Camry, going from a car with a 13-gallon tank to one with an 18-gallon one has really been a pain in the wallet. Not to mention the $400 exise tax bill I just paid on the mofo.
