It just cannot be September already

To celebrate the end of summer, I'm wearing white shoes and pants. Not that I believe in that old Memorial Day to Labor Day thing, but you know -- wearing white after Labor Day could get someone killed, a la Serial Mom.

So some good things about this upcoming weekend:

1) All the good sales -- Yankee Candle, J Jill, Pottery Barn -- I could just pass out from excitement.

2) Cool festivals.

3) Lest I forget -- three whole days off.
