Today's lesson: Don't judge a day by the time you wake up

Yesterday, I accidentially set my alarm for 8 p.m. instead of 8 a.m. Which means I didn't wake up until (drum roll) 9:11 a.m. I was an hour late for work. And being highly superstitious, I thought the 9/11 (or 911) wakeup time doomed me to a bad day. One of those days where you should have just stayed in bed in the first place.

Well, other than getting some extremely bad news from a friend, yesterday pretty much kicked ass. I got a ton done in the office, and then I went to the mall, picked up some good bah-gins and went home to a nice dinner with my M. Then I camped out in the basement to watch season 1 Grey's Anatomy. (One more epi to go, and I've watched the whole first season.) So I'm glad I got out of bed despite the time yesterday.
