So fucking unfair
Snickolett's husband died last night after a two-and-a-half-year, courageous battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
I am wrenched with grief for someone I didn't even know. In tears, both sad and angry, at my desk.
He was in his mid-30s. They have nine-month-old twins.
Please pray for them and leave her some comments of support. I left her this:
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit.
Amen
