My number has finally come up

I have never been called for jury duty. People in my family have been called multiple times and cursed me for my luck. I made the mistake of talking about it, and I think I pissed off the jury duty karma gods, because I had a big ol' notice in my mail the other day. It's at a local court and a few months out, but blah. Hopefully they will call it off when we get closer.
