OBAMA
Man, did I want to post yesterday. But I was home, and my borrowed computer is ancient and runs Windows 98. I'm talking 10-minute waits for pages to load. And I have a miserable, shitty cold, so I didn't have the patience to sit there and wait.
Anyway, none of that matters. As I keep telling Boo, we have a new president. Barack Obama. Hope and change won. And although I am a Democrat, I can say that John McCain was gracious to a fault in his concession speech. Current President Bush, too, has handled this well. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, with her comment about not being responsible for "John McCain's loss," is the epitome of a sore loser. Go back to Alaska and stay there.
If you're a Republican reading this and are sad your guy didn't get in, I want to tell you I felt your pain in 2000 and 2004, so I am not going to gloat. But I will say that I hope this divided country can come together with our new, young president and his family at the helm. Yes we can.
