Happy birthday to me!

I've no shame, I'll tell anyone and everyone: Today is my 32nd birthday. M bought me a 20-gig Dell DJ (the Dell version of the iPod), which I need to get the hang of ripping songs to. He also bought me really nice sapphire-and-diamond hoop earrings. So cute. I wish he would send me flowers at work, but I've learned not to get my hopes up. He will BRING me flowers, but he ain't into SENDING them. Sigh.

We got a buttload of Christmas shopping done this weekend and put up all the Christmas decorations except for the tree. It just felt too early for that. I need to start on my Christmas cards -- I've got them all set up on the dining room table. I need stamps and to gather a bunch o' addresses. The fun of the holiday season begins...and they're off!
