MLK day layabout and my Internet notoriety

I have today off, and I wanted to go shopping and do some errands. However, it's below zero with the wind chill, and my hill of a driveway is one solid sheet of ice, according to M, who had to work today (maybe it's a plot to keep me away from the stores). So it's noon, and I've tidied up for the millionth time, and I'm sitting around in my jammies and glasses bored silly. I was going to read my book, but you know, I don't feel like it. I'm reading Stephen King's Dreamcatcher, and it's really good -- I'm a huge fan, but I haven't read his stuff in awhile and I forgot how riveting his stuff is. Anyway, I think I'll hang out until early afternoon and then do the essential errands.

So this blog mentioned me, and this blog, my Internet friend Jody's Big Dump Truck, mentioned that it mentioned me. So in the big, fat circle of life, I'm mentioning Jody. She rocks, yo. Booyeah.

I meant to post about this yesterday, but M is unspeakably depressed about what happened Saturday night. I am too, but Tommy handled the whole thing with class, grace and style. As did Belichick. M said he'd never seen coach look that sad. Of course, some wingnut reporter asked Tedy Bruschi if he thought the team would be competitive next year. The extremely passionate Tedy, who was barely holding it together right after a major loss, hissed, "Are you kidding me? With this locker room and the guys we have in here? Take your question and get out of my face." He then stomped away. Good for him. Why would you ask that?

At least the Colts and Peyton cry-to-Kenny-Chesney-I'm-going-to-blame-everyone-but-myself Manning lost too. Hee hee.
