Haikus for the heat
Inspired by Robin's hilarious post, I've written a few bits of poetry to immortalize this blistering, record, oppressive heat wave we're going through. I'll be coming back to read this in six months when we're all freezing our asses off. Feel free to contribute your own in my comments.
Air conditioner
The sound of these precious words
Ring in my hot ears
I can't stand the heat
I'm standing in the kitchen
How does one escape?
Sweat drips down my face
It trickles down my body
And it's just morning
Oh, mall and theater
How I love thee for your cool
Not just clothes and shows
Air conditioner
The sound of these precious words
Ring in my hot ears
I can't stand the heat
I'm standing in the kitchen
How does one escape?
Sweat drips down my face
It trickles down my body
And it's just morning
Oh, mall and theater
How I love thee for your cool
Not just clothes and shows
