Boo, the icebreaker
When you have a baby, life changes in many ways. One of the big ones, though, is that you can't go out in public without being approached by total strangers who want to know how old your child is, what's his name, does he sleep through the night, etc. They then regale you with stories of their own kids. It's like a baby is carte blanche to start conversation. M jokes that if he were single, Boo would be a total chick magnet. It's kind of cool.
