Plastic surgery?

I've thought endlessly about, as Princess Di put it, getting my conk fixed. I loathe my nose and always have. I try to just accept it, but I just...can't. One of these days, I will get a nose job. M is dead set against it and has been trying to talk me out of it for years.

I just read this article about women "mummysitting" other women who've been scalpelized. I'm sure right after surgery ain't no fun, but reading that pretty graphic detail about those fun, fun days did not put me off in the least. My mom told me, if it will make you feel better, rock on.

Anyone had their conk fixed? Stories? Will I be sorry? Is the pain excruciating?
