Step 1: We could have lots of fun

M's timing is impeccable. He planned his Step 1 spreading for the week when it was going to rain (and snow!) so it would water into our lawn. It's already greening up nicely. I found a dude on Craig's List who will cut the grass once a month -- email me if you're local and need someone, because he's hella reasonable. Yes, I am a boring grown-up now who is obsessed with her lawn.
