Reason 101 Tom Cruise is an asshole
On Friday, I got an email from Pop Bitch about this South Park episode that repeats the term "Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet" 28 times. The word is, it got banned in the UK on Tom's request, and there's word he might sue. This blog post sums up the whole thing a lot better than I can, but suffice it to say I won't be renting Top Gun any time soon. Asshole.
Today was, for lack of a better term, Dead Grandpa Day. We went to the five-year anniversary mass for M's grandpa, then went by the cemetery to visit my grandfather, who's been dead for almost 10 years. Then we stopped at Mecca to buy Chappelle's Show Season 2. (M bought me Season 1 for Christmas, and we spent a good chunk of yesterday laughing our asses off at it.) I also bought Moonlighting Seasons 1 and 2 with my own money. Season 3 is coming out soon, and I can't wait. I sincerely love that show, and I'm not much of a TV person. It's way cool to watch TV shows on DVD -- no commercials and censorship.
We are seriously considering buying a new car, but we can't decide on what we want to get. My car is a 2000 Ford Focus with 104K on it, and his is a 1999 Mazda Protege with 97K. So we need to start thinkin', Lincoln. Probably by the end of the year -- hopefully he will be in a good, long remission by then.
And M's feeling better. He isn't nauseous anymore, and his headache is long gone. Hoo-hah. I need to go vacuum, but I so don't feel like it. Then I'm going to lay on the couch and laugh at Chappelle's inappropriate humor. I love weekends.
