The global warming garden

Just found this story about global warming's effect on our gardens and yards. (Or gahdens and yahds, as we say around here.) Even though I have killer allergies, I do love working out in my yard. My entire back fence is covered in poison ivy, and as the article points out, it's more allergenic than ever. Maybe we'll just cordon off that area.

In a related note: M said to me last night, "I'm getting excited about the pool!"

So am I.

And they say there's no global warming?

A huge ice cap -- the size of 11,000 football fields -- broke off in the Canadian north. Between our no-snow, too-warm winter and stuff like this, I think the inconvenient truth is becoming more of a sad reality.
