All I need is a miracle

As of Tuesday, I will have been out of work for three months. I have submitted probably a hundred resumes, made calls, etc. And mostly, I've been met by dead silence -- the black hole. The only responses I've gotten have been a request for an interview -- which I went on, it went well, and I was summarily rejected via letter -- and an interested email about another job. When I followed up, the position had been filled, but I was told I was on the "short list" for future opportunities.

All of this makes me feel bad for my fellow job seekers, but it also makes me pissed at them for being the competition. There are very few jobs out there, and too many people looking. It's very ugly. Part of me wants to retreat from job searching altogether and just embrace my life as a SAHM. But I don't want to give up. My next opportunity is around the corner, I keep thinking. All I need is the stars to align properly. And perhaps a minor miracle.

Getting mad at dad

In general, I tend to be a fiery person. I have a temper. I mouth off. I get furious. And then I don't even remember what I was mad about. So when I read this article in Parenting about women who get mad at their husbands and why, boy, did it resonate with me. The lead basically states how I feel about M:

My husband and I just celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. I'd say we have
a great marriage. There's no one I trust more, no one else I'd rather talk to,
and no one who makes me laugh harder.

But that doesn't mean I don't get furious at him from time to time.
Man, do I know what she's talking about. Men (and women) can make you nuts, can't they? And when you throw a child into the mix, boy, the stakes are that much higher, emotions run that much deeper and it can all just be stressful. This message board in response to the article is absolutely jumping with responses, so it's nice to know those boys piss us all off from time to time.

So what do we do about it? Do we stew in silence? Do we tell them they are being clueless and making us mad and risk starting a fight? How do you deal with your anger? I know you have it; it's part of every relationship. I'm interested in what guys have to say too.
